A gold-buying storefront that had run out of room

Sell Your Gold USA

The problem

Twenty years of buying gold over a counter in two South Florida locations. The margins were thin, the model was geographically capped, and the growth everyone wanted was on the selling side rather than the buying side.

What I built

A repositioning into a gift brand selling hand-poured silver collectibles. Paid social run against the raw advertising API rather than the dashboard, so campaign structure and creative testing could be automated instead of clicked. Creative produced in house. The catalog grown through a five-machine render pipeline rather than a photo studio, which is the only reason the product range could expand at the speed the advertising needed.

What changed

It became a direct-to-consumer business rather than a walk-in one. Its best sales month on record was this August. The gold buying still runs. It is now the smaller half.

Private vaulting since 1983 · I'm the COO

A vault running on paper

Florida InterVault

The problem

Leasing, billing, production, shipping and phone handling spread across four systems and a filing cabinet. No way to see the state of the business without asking three people.

What I built

One platform the whole team works in. Tenant leasing with signing done on an iPad in the building. Billing with a guard so renewal notices never go to someone who has already paid. A production board where every stage is timed. Cost tracked per order against the metal price locked on the day of sale rather than today's. And automated grading of every inbound sales call against a published three-point rubric, so coaching is based on what was said rather than on what was remembered.

What changed

The building runs on it daily, and the leadership team can see where every order and every lease stands without asking anyone.

Luxury retail, Naples · client

A sales floor that never opened the CRM

Yamron Jewelers

The problem

Years of client history sitting in a CRM the sales floor didn't use, because it was built for reporting rather than for selling. Almost the entire team works on a phone.

What I built

A mobile-first platform on top of the CRM. Re-engagement lists filtered by how long since a client last visited or bought. A weekly coaching scorecard. An internal ticketing system where progress notes are written in plain language for non-technical staff. And an assistant that answers questions against the CRM directly, scoped to each user's permissions, so an advisor asks a question instead of learning a reporting tool.

What changed

The data is now in the hands of the people who can act on it, in the place they already work. Executives have live performance data across every department, easily accessible, without waiting on anyone to build a report.

Data audit and analysis

A number that had to survive being challenged

Confidential

The problem

A large transactional dataset needed a valuation and a provenance trail that would hold up under scrutiny, reconciled against a prior analysis and a separate regulatory export.

What I built

Analysis across tens of millions of dollars of active inventory, classified down to category level, with a verification layer built on top so the work can be inspected rather than trusted. One landing table per source file, imported verbatim, with nothing in the source data altered at any point. All classification in a separate layer, with the rule that matched each record stored alongside it, so any figure traces back to the reason it was categorised that way. Every number on screen shows the query that produced it.

What changed

Every figure is reproducible from source by someone who has no reason to take my word for it. That was the whole requirement.

Legal services · in progress

Two businesses, one customer

Private and confidential

The problem

Personal injury attorneys need two things nobody sells together. Somewhere to send clients for medical care, and a supply of accident cases in the first place.

What I built

A coordination platform that moves one patient across several providers at once without anyone losing track of them, with a separate private thread per provider so the attorney sees everything and each provider sees only its own. Patient data sits behind row-level database security and app-level scoping. Alongside it, lead generation across the southeastern states, built page by page on verified law rather than filler, with intake routed so every lead traces back to the page that produced it.

What changed

Two products, one buyer, one list. Both are live projects and I hold a share of the outcome rather than billing for it. Detail under NDA.
